Hi Martin, I have a design problem in as much that I've had a Dutch Barge built but cannot decide on the
Wheelhouse. I would like one that one person can let down in a hurry when a low bridge looms up unexpectedly, i.e, one that looks right on a Dutch Barge but folds down quickly.
Front windscreen to be Oak- framed, hinged down to to front deck. 2 Oak doors, one on either side,
both hinged down to bottom half. The rest in heavy canvas that rolls down, i.e, Bearers along the top
to take the roof,  sides & back just undo.
The boat is narrow beam & Wheelhouse will be at the rear, although it hasn't got a wheel it has a conventional rudder arm that will protrude through the rear canvas. Any suggestions would be very
gratefully excepted. Peter.
