Hi,

Has anyone got any views on solar power?
I was looking at spending ?1000 on some solar panels to charge my batteries instead of upgrading my generator.
My friend (Hi Mick) has 2 and puts about 4.5 amps into his batteries. I was looking at buying four or even eight.

Any views?

If I could put 9 amps in (2 panels = 4.5 amps, 4 panels = 9 amps) for a majority of the day, this would possibly be enough, especially as I have just invested in an LCD flat TV which uses much less power than a standard CRT TV.
